I fully agree, though im surprised they had such a stupidly short timespan to do it, especially considering they had to have the dinner parties

You can save most lumpy things by throwing an egg beater at it. Next time use the eggbeater first - it might be considered cheating but it really makes life easier!

Okay having made this one a few times, the cooking times are a little off i found. It says 15mins for the first bake, however ive often found another 5-10 mins is needed to bring it to a 'cake' like texture before cutting, otherwise its often gloopy in the middle. Second bake often i find its not as crispy as I'd like so i do it 20-25 mins bake usually.

The Start Menu : Lemon Loaf Recipe

I had some trouble getting it out of the pan, and it took a bit longer to cook through than 45 mins. The timeing could be due to cooking 2 at the same time, and i used a fan forced oven. The sticking was to a silicon loaf pan and probably because i never greased it, and poured on the sticky topping whilst it was in the pan (it went down the sides). Very crumbly when i got it out, possibly because its so fresh! but oh it tastes to yummy!! amazing! Left it to cool properly and hopefully it will stick together better by morning so the kids can take some to school. I have eaten the better part of a loaf already :D
