I grew up in Wellington heights and would love to see someone rstore these old houses to their fomer glory, BUT, if it was really a priority to the commission, why did they not purcase the property and fix it themseves? It seems that this group is forming a pattern of butting in just before a demo, failing at attempts to save, and then saying "Well, we tried." There are so many geat old houses on the lower SE side that are worthy of restoration, but if they remain vacant and run down, they do nothing but harbor miscreants and create public health issues. It is an unfortunate situation, but if they are not going to be more proactive and less reactive, the outcomes will remain the same.

The best part about the shellacking our defense gave out in the OB was the hour long celebration of GT's unstoppable offense during the pregame. It played perfectly into the storyline that Norm's boys came out and made GT look like they had a playbook that could fit on a business card.
