As Julie said at Richert's place, it will end up being a blogger who does it (it was last time too).

Problem is when a blogger does it it only get's play in the blogosphere, not in the media -- the media likes to pick and choose what information they lift and not attribute back to blogs.

Fischer is divisive and helps with their page views, hence they aren't eager to have a reason to not quote him.

I'll do what I can. I've got a good one for today.

I hope it passes too, it's needed legislation. I just like to point out that the legislature is pro-biz sometimes and pro-consumer others, but they always claim to be pro-biz. I mean, if we don't need to regulate day cares because that could hurt business and it's intrusive, why would they regulate lenders?

I mean, what's a child's life compared to someone taking out a $200 payday loan and getting ripped off?

Oh I agree, it's a handsome salary for sending out a daily email and being a pain in the ass of Idaho Legislators. I'd love to see his 990's, would be good reading I'm sure.

It came up last year when he was a' beggin' for funds, I know he pulls down 50k in salary, or at least used to. I'm trying to track down my old emails on the subject, but the IVA is a pretty small organization, much smaller than the media gives them credit for.

Yes, but... I really don't agree with seminary during school hours either, that's something they should save for their own time, not the schools. And I think we all know why certain kids choose to attend seminary...

That's kinda how I approach my situation. I eat pretty much all vegan at home and what I enjoy when we go out. It kinda forces the moderation. I remember when we used to eat steak 1 or 2 times a week, plus sausage, hamburgers... etc... etc. Without having any animal products in the house it makes it harder to consume the things that aren't as good for you.

I do miss the in-house cheese though... even more than the in-house meat.

I think learning about the world's religions is a useful glass, akin to learning about the the world's history. I don't think it is wise to teach classes that are indoctrinating, like seminary, just one that teaches "real" history of the world's religions.
