Another useful idiot, stepping forward when beckoned.

Since we start with the "given" that Weinstein, Streep, and almost everyone else in H'wood hate and despise everything that Thatcher believed in, why would these people want to make a movie about her? Only one reason--to make her look bad. If I'm wrong, I'll say so publicly. But this group making a favorable movie about Thatcher is about as likely as them making a favorable movie about Ronald Reagan. IOW, it ain't gonna happen.

The egotistical wet-noodle John McCain didn't want to win. He didn't want to attack Obama, and even though he made a brilliant choice in making Palin his VP nominee, he didn't want her to use her exceptional talents. Obama didn't win the election--McCain lost it.

Condit was vindicated only in the sense that we now know that he didn't kill Levy. Every other aspect of his behavior, including obstructing the police investigation with his stonewalling, was immoral, unethical, and probably--at least some of it--illegal. While he was trying to save his precious political career, he kept vital and important information from the authorities--information that might have helped them find Levy and solve the mystery of her murder sooner. Condit isn't vindicated--he's still the same self-centered scum that he was 10 years ago. He didn't kill the woman, but he helped the killer escape justice because of his (Condit's) scornful actions. He should've been prosecuted as an accessory.

Not to be picky, but Oswald killed Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963--or did Humberto mean that the "headlines" didn't appear until the next day, Nov. 23?

Oliver Stone is a nut, as well as a liar. You can push that combination only so far in movies before the public, as opposed to the fawning left-wing Hollywood types, will quit watching. The public has obviously caught on to Stone's nut-liar-ness, and not a moment too soon. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

What a contrast Reagan was to the childish, spoiled brat we have in the White House now. Reagan the Giant--obama the pygmy. Then, the Towering Colossus--now, the snivelling shrimp. What have we done to ourselves? What have we become to fall so far in just 20 years?

Well, some people might consider a 43-year-old woman who has already had 18 kids still having children somewhat irresponsible--especially when it leads to the 3-month-premature birth of a barely-one-pound baby. What now, especially if the baby doesn't survive? Will this couple (probably) just call it "God's will"? Or will they (not likely) recognize their own responsibility/blame? This entire spectacle is obscene.
