The only problem is that he hired the wrong baseball people. It is just representative of the incompetence of the Mets organization. A great example occurred the past couple days...First with the Dave Howard's assurance that the Mets are working on a hall of fame. Why wasn't it already built? It really takes all this fuss to inform them that they should have recognized the past a little more. Second, why does Jay Horowitz, the PR director, come out and state that they will be erasing the signature and be so adamant that it is unacceptable to sign the wall. Then Wilpon calls up the fan like that never happened. I think the PR director shouldnt say anything until ownership has discussed it. Why is the old HR apple hidden. It just seems like they are using A-rod's PR firm.
