Shelley, Thanks for sharing! i totally agree! A good and steady pace is important in life, but even then, I am constantly reminded that "Unless the Lord build the house" I am only laboring in vain. S.

Thanks Mark! You guys are great friends and although we don't get to connect very often, I am grateful for you!

Glad you were encouraged by the post. I am with you on the planning side, but for me I tend to operate all too many times without the awareness that my plans are only as good as His will for me;-) Hope to see you in the ATL soon! S.

Thanks for reading and for the encouragement Erin! I have found that not only do we find freedom when we are authentic with our stories and struggles, but often times it gives us some of our most significant ministry opportunities. I am honored that my story can be a positive impact on the lives of others! Blessings to you! S.

Adam, thanks for the post and I completely agree. Dependence on Him in the deepest parts of who we are is crucial. Challenging for sure, but a worthy pursuit! S.

Thanks for the encouragement Kim! I have been saying this a lot lately, but am discovering more and more every day that our greatest ministry comes from our brokenness. Praying today that you find continued joy and encouragement on your journey! S.

Thanks for the thought Will! I am familiar with porn nation, but honestly, what I am advocating for here is less read a book, than do the hard work of healing and discovery around what is broken and finding a guide to help us through the process of discovering not just how to stop, but why it is happening and what is the real need behind it that only Christ can help fill. Thanks for reading! S.
