Just read this in an article from yahoo sports writer Dan Wetzel. It made me laugh, although it may not have particular bearing on this discussion.
UFC star and former WWE star Brock Lesnar about falling ill while in Canada:
"He wasn’t excited about his Canadian medical care, comparing it to “a third world country” where he couldn’t get any treatment."
He almost died up there from diverticulitis. He was saved when he made it back to ND in excruciating pain and received quality care at hospital there.

We do not want government run health care!!!

The End

"the 2008 ballot initiative that ended marriage equality in California". You like that spin? "Marriage Equality" This vote was not a matter of equality as much as it was a matter of definition. Two men cannot be married to each other because marriage is more than two people committing themselves to each other. That is why I support equal rights under the law for any two people who commit themselves to each other, just don't call it marriage. What the passing of Prop 8 ended was the hijacking of a term by a specific group of people.

I agree with you that the tax code needs to be thrown out and something much more simple put in place. In addition, I believe that an elected official should be able to serve as long as they are elected to represent us, but that while they are in office, they cannot spend any time campaigning. They are in office to serve and represent the people who elected them, and that is the job they should be doing full time. Let their job as a servant of the people be their campaign. Let their past actions be their promises for the future. Let their voting record stand as the symbol of the choices they will make in the future. If after all that the people like the job he is doing, then good on him for doing the will of the people, and he will likely be elected again.

-Beat him within an inch of his life,
-Bring him back to health (without pain medication),
-Repeat twice for each life he took, once for each survivor he shot,
-Execute in Army fashion.

He did raise a ton of money, and to make sure it gets used the most efficiently, it should be given to support the Military Operations over there. Or to a group that uses 100% of donations for the relief effort. None of this 10% is used for overhead cost and paying the chief organizers BS.

What they forgot to note was that all the producers (aka conservatives, aka those with real jobs, aka responsible people) in Mass are still at work and won't be hitting the polls till now.

I think a full length feature documentary on this topic is in order. You can also visit the cities of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Paterson NJ. All testaments of the failed "progressive" policy. This is what happens when people lose or never understand what it means to provide for yourself.

I too have enjoyed Waterston's acting in the series, not for his opinions (which I always assumed were simply written in). So does an actor cease to be an actor if he is simply put in front of a camera and filmed being who he is when he isn't in front of the camera?
