Love Three Days of the Condor, and I've been waiting for it's appearance in this series!

hilarious. Little Match Girl is in a Christmas book of ours. I always change the ending so the girl finds a family and lives happily ever after!

I know. I get it, and I actually like this one. I just wanted to get in my defense of commercialism. Today the anti-commercialism thing is so prominent. And yet, we are all hoping that the retail numbers are high this year especially. We need commercialism- it leads to jobs, security, happiness!

thx SD. I like a slow burn. I've always felt that since comedy is hard for me, it should be for my readers as well.

It is excellent. I used to love all the Charlie Brown specials.

I read that Rudolph was created by Montgomery Ward as a Christmas promotion. Commercialism indeed!

good comments. But remember, I didn't say "purely because of duty." I said purpose. That's different. I like the Walter Owen quote, that soldiers "will look for a place in the world where they find themselves excellent at something. One of those places is, and has always been, battle."
I say this is a much more powerful motivator than adrenaline.
