Ford is in a good position right now and I'm confident that they will pull thru this and may be the only US auto company intact after all the dust settles. Its a shame that in the past there have been a ton of issues with Ford's overall image. With Chrysler in Bankruptcy and basically off the hook to pay the tax payers back and GM will more then likely be in the same boats soon maybe its time for everyone to rally behind Ford.

We can all agree that the Unions have there good and bad sides but it has a very big impact on the bottom line. I don't see a bid deal about this story. All the auto companies do this in one form or another. They are all global companies in the end. The money goes back to the county the companies home office is located. At the end of the day the Union's were great in the beginning, but now with all of the different groups like OSHA out there there are no longer the worries of getting killed at work in a factory. I agree that now is the time for them to go.
