when i see what goes to trade school in NYC it scares me more. Lincoln Tech, APEX Tech, forget it - schools are producing next to no one of any value. Maybe small businesses (electrical, plumbing, etc...) should be giving tax incentives to hire apprentices. 18 months of learning, with the government eating some portion of the salary, and some kind of testing afterwards proving they learned something - maybe?

totally agree - neither side knows what they are doing with the money i tried to teach my kids the difference between and liberal and a conservative came up with this - a conservative has an idea and figures out how to pay for it a liberal has an idea and has you pay for it working on it but the idea is there

just heard a report about how on the west coast they have had so many volunteers that the unions are coming out in full force trying to stop it. volunteers are replacing police, firemen, laborers - i think it is a growing trend and something to be noted - as an American I am proud of stories like that - i am not anti-union as much as i am not pro-unio, if that makes any sense
