In 2002 that was the way it was - have you heard about the cry of "change". Maybe Romney has,.

However, Newt is the only true conservative running for president. The people are letting the "PRESS" dumb him down. Yes, in his early

years, he made some mistakes but so did I and I would bet the moon that many other Americans did too.

What a ramble filled with nonsense. What drug are you under? There is a group of people in our society that are being brainwashed into thinking that wealth will continue if no one works or if no one (except the government) has the ability to HIRE and PAY someone a wage or salary. Thousands are caught up in the movement and don't seem to understand what they are asking for. All I can say is that you should READ "Darkness at Noon" by Kessler AND "The Road to Serfdom" by Hayek. If you are intelligent enough to comprehend these two book, then we can talk. If not, go back to sleep.

I had the opportunity to hold an American History class last week for 20 minutes as the teacher was late. As I quizzed them about such things as the LA purchase, communism, the Vietnam war, etc. not one of 16 could answer my questions. The only true response I got was one student who said she wanted to learn more "black history". That is understandable since the school is 70% black and the teacher is black, but give me a break. Does this make for a future informed student???

I think Cain speaks with wisdom. But it is early and we need to remember that the first time we voted in a politician who was outside the mainstream DC politics we got CARTER. The second time we got OBAMA. We are on a slippery slope and our candidate has to be true to his word. Cain has great potential but I refused to be too easily convinced just because we MUST get rid of Obama. We must choose carefully. I may even vote for him but there is still much to know and learn. We missed that boat with Obama and look where we are today.

mob mentality is a scary thing - I was on a picket line in 1972 and found myself saying and acting in ways that I would never have done by myself. Mob mentality needs to be studied, but I forgot Ann Coulter has done that in "Demonic"

We are a nation under siege.

Bingo. Finally someone has put it in terms that even a 5th grader should be able to understand. Now, spread the message. I will.

As for Palin, I don't think she had a choice but to resign. We would never have had a Republican turn-around in the House if she had not come down from Alaska and stomped the election circuit and made citizens aware of the mess we were in with Demo prez, senate, and house. We should thank her everyday and appreciate that she saved the state of Alaska a gizillion dollars in fighting political lawsuits against her. You should be ashamed as Sarah has what it takes to lead this country but unfortunately people like you have been brainwashed to thinking that 8 years of being governor will make a difference. As for Christie, we toatlly agree and I hope he remains a governor for many years to come.

I am always amazed that people "go there". They talk about the personal issues of other people! This, my friend, is where the ticket to "bullying" begins. If children see and hear adults talk about others without consideration for feelings or possible health issues, then they feel empowered to say hurtful things to others. I see it everyday as a public school employee. I personally think that many people I work with are toooo thin and I think others might want to visit a "diet clinic", however, I know that it is WRONG for me to voice or force my opinion on them. Enough said. People are cruel and that's why I love my dog. He doesn't give a rip what I look like.
