Iain......please ask him if in the future we will be seeing our academy products allowed a decent run in the first team. We attract a lot of talented young lads because WHU are seen as a club that gave young players a chance to develop properly and break into the first team. Some fans are concerned that very few seem to break through properly these days and they just get the odd bit part role.
We love to see a local lad come good......please introduce a policy that atleast two are given a REAL chance every season (10 starts and 10 subs apps atleast).
Thanks

only saw highlights last night....based on that i saw passion and effort, which was great to see after the previous result. Thought cole and faubert looked up for it, both playing with passion. How come our player gets red for going in two footed and yet the milwall player did not....clearly did exactly the same thing !! Both his legs were stretched out infront of him at the point of contact.
This maybe mentioned above already, but dont have time to read 104 previous comments at the moment.

Was busy last night and turned on pc just now expecting atleast a draw........a bit shocked !!
Hope this was just a bad day at the office, cos we cannot afford many more like that or morale will plummit. Make the Boleyn a cauldron of noise (whole 90 mins) for the next match and force them to put in a real performance.
How the hell did that happen ?

its worrying that we hold transfer negotiations with this bloke in portugal and he walks out cos he doesn't like the way the negotiations are going. Now he may have a typical fiery latino temperament. But it could also show why we have not been able to sign any of the 25 potential targets spoken about before the window opened and why recent transfer talks have not secured anyone.
Are they selling the club properly to potential signings and making the player feel wanted ?

lambert and sharp......soton attack could cost us the title, if them two gel.

with tevez deal to milan (ac and inter) both reported in the press to be dead....after our earlier talks with man city about a loan till the end of the season be possible after all ? It makes no sense him sitting on his bum till the summer and this will not help any resale value. Maybe a loan to whu, may now appeal to tevez and man city....we can dream after all.
Also dos santos (spuds) transfer has fallen through to sevilla.....could we get him in on loan to offer some width, creativity and pace.
This last part of the window is when the action takes place and the rumours stop and we can all hope for a couple of signings to push us onto the championship title (hopefully).

I think McGugan's contract that he signed at forest was a one year extension and so expires at the end of the season. If correct 2.5 mill should be enough to get him and forest are skint apparently. Maybe we could offload to them carew or piqi because they dont have much potency in attack. I think he could prove a real whu type player and become a fans favourite....good freekicks/shots.

Your right......in the last 48 hrs players clubs were hoping to sell...but have not offloaded....will all suddenly become available on loan. Also clubs demanding 7 mill for a player, will suddenly consider that 5 mill is not such a bad offer after all.
Hopefully we will make one good permanent deal giving us some different attacking options, plus a couple of loans to strengthen weaker area's.....hopefully that should be enough to get us the promotion we need to stabilise us financially.

Why bid 6 mill for maynard ? He is out of contract at the end of the season and 2.5 mil is near the transfer fee being talked about to purchase him. We dont have much cash and cannot afford to throw it about like confette !!!
