I really have a problem believing anything the detainees claim. My opinion? They WANT to remain in this country - what better place to plot and plan against us than in our own backyard?

It is truly awe inspiring that the United States came into existence by the selfless,dedicated, and brave work of a group of British colonists. That those colonists knew they risked execution for treason by the crown but still forged ahead is humbling. That they had the strength of their convictions and faith in their creator, I am forever grateful.

I just don't understand it. Here we have a man who taught constitutional law at the U. of Chicago law school in the past. Now he's president and is seeming to walk all over the constitution. Worrisome.

Yes, TXTJ - very well said. I too, have noticed many of the Obama "fans" now getting sick and tired of his "performance".

He must stop trying to appease the far left, blame-America-first, hate Bush crowd and BE the president of the United States.

How in the world is anyone going to want to advise the President, if they fear reprisal from the next admin.??

Yeah - that's always beenone of my weak points -- I tend to give everyone - even those who definitely don't deserve it, the benefit of a doubt. However, I will gladly add -- that it only happens ONCE!

It's the old mantra of the left: "Do as I say, not as I do". I've noticed through the years that liberals seem to not only be loud mouthed, but also love to tell everyone else what they should do. For some reason, the libs seldom seem to follow their own advice.
