I resided in Ireland for a little short of two years before I returned to America in 2002. The time there was a blast, except in retrospect I drank a little frequently, and a particular issue was coincidentally gnawing. Today I can only wish I had possessed something near the level of maturity I think to enjoy in the meantime. During the stay I was a grossly immature young man--not to say it was ever mentioned to me during it, except admittedly I can remember nothing but a single day in which I was sober: I remember as a young man of nineteen years I had been crying on the sidewalk because the pubs all were closed for this or that holiday and everything at home was already consumed. The alcoholic tendencies have all but disappeared in California but I wish I had spent my days in Ireland a tad more wisely and carved a niche for myself. Lately the wanderlust has taken hold again; and after ten years I have recurring dreams (almost nightmarish in tone) of returning except I doubt I ever will. Besides the future and utter collapse of California, why leave it? I was considering Mexico, even. But a place in my heart is always there for Ireland. The women are gorgeous and feisty as anything! Gar-jus! And I miss Podge and Rodge. The lads!

Sheesh. I can wonder if any amount of government intervention is capable of getting this poor guy laid on our own side of eternity: the dumb look on his face is priceless as it seems to betray a confusion between proximity and intercourse; in similar fashion the Democrats had confused sex with masturbation during the Miss California scenario, which only confirms my sentiment that liberalism is a substitute for sex itself. Sincerely I hate to inform this lightweight how reality has graced the author of this comment with the ogling gazes and praises of a million Latin women, and I can assure you it involves anything but "health care"; chivalry and looks will take you far, as any acquaintance of mine can tell, whereas supporting Obamacare will land you a front-row seat in the Friend Zone at best. I look at the guy and the first thought to come to mind is, "Friend Zone". Sorry, Democrats, but your Barack means nothing in the boudoir. Cry all you want. The victor gets the spoils--not the victicrat.

Yet another reason to break Mr. Yorke's legs if I ever come across the sobbing wretch on this end of Sea Monkey Land. And that's the most G-rated scenario I could imagine. As for liberals' hypocrisy, the best tactic to counter it involves the tried-and-true method of calling them pantywaists to no end. They want Americans to forget their little anti-military past. Why should anybody forget it?

A particular segment involving Clara Bow and an office desk comes to mind from the 1927 silent feature "It" starring the actress herself alongside Antonio Moreno. At least it was stimulating the first time I saw what she did and how it was done. "Sadie Thompson" was another silent I enjoyed for similar reasons, except here it was Gloria Swanson's mere facial expressions that made her so devastating to a young man. Nothing today comes near it. The silent era people knew what sexual tension was all about and today nothing is changed in God's world except Hollywood itself; the which town--for all I care--can stand itself in the corner to watch and learn what desire truly means to a human audience. The robot sex is wearing thin. I wish that last sentence was further from literal. It's literal.

I had enjoyed a couple of Bebel's albums until I lost them during the move from my last apartment. How did I forget her? As for Cibelle the name sounds familiar, I enjoyed the link anyway. Also there was reportedly a new Gabriel album to be released aside from the one you mentioned. Any news on that?

A French band called Phoenix and their single, Lisztomania is linked here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BJDNw7o6so
