The problem, like there is a limited list, is that you base an offense on 3pointers that have a success rate of 40% or so. That creates a 40% or so chance of winning a game and college basketball is a possessions game. With the percentages above Iowa has the same chance to lose/win against VIrginia Tech as it does against Prairie View A&M. There is NO ONE who has any ability to drive the ball to the hoop to move the defense and kick out for an open three. NO ONE that can seem to get the ball inside to Cole and the throwing the ball around the key looks like a shell drill and an exhibit on passing.

Are we really trying to blame Alford for this pathetic showing of a basketball game? Alford did not cause last years players to transfer out of the program, bring horrid 3 point shooting to the table and strip every virtue of athleticism from the Iowa basketball program. Fans will appear when the quality of basketball improves. If you choose to avoid Iowa basketball because of the coach of the past you need question how big a fan you really claim to be. The team is just bad...really bad.

If the threat indicated a bomb outside the courthouse, it would seem that running people out of the courthouse would have been the absolute wrong decision. The threat was supposedly outside so why would the police put people in the exact spot that was supposed to house the bomb.
