I was in high school when he retired. Being young and stupid I never paid much attention to who and what the newscasters said. As I grew older and wiser (I hope) I have talked with people who served and thought WC was a tool. He was a major reason why the Vietnam War was lost. He turned a tremendous victory (TET) into a crushing defeat. He betrayed the trust of the nation. He did not report, he propagandized. After watching him during the Gulf War, telling America the Bush Adm. was lying because the casualties were not high enough it infuriated me. All he talked about were the casualty reports. I came to the conclusion WC is a liberal POS. He is the reason why the State Run Media is what it is today. He let opinion into his reporting. But I will give him his due that he was a reporter before being a TV newscaster, not like today's buffoons who are only teleprompter readers like our dear TOTUS. Condolences to his family and friends, but he has to face God now.
Having been born in Jersey City I was able to see the Empire State Building and see the World Trade Center being built from our apartment. From my grandmothers house we could see Lady Liberty. I made it a point to take my future wife to Liberty State Park while she was visiting for the first time. We were awestruck how the sun shined on the towers. When those bastards attacked it made me physically ill. That attack was on me. Unfortunately the area which I speak is inhabited by the dumbest bunch of people outside of CA and NE. NJ was a fairly conservative state except Essex/Hudson/Camden/Middlesex counties. In the mid to late 80's when the economy took off, it seemed like half of NY moved there. Now NJ is as corrupt a place as any in the country. It is disgusting how the left is destroying all that was good.

The government is the reason that all this happened in the first place. They mandate everything on business. In a competitive world the corporations have little choice. Corporations are beholden to the stockholders. They expect returns on their investment. The reason people go into business is for profit. More profit is good for business. The fix to the problem is getting govt out of the way. Eliminate corporate taxes, capital gains, go to a flat tax where everyone pays, eliminate minimum wage, make all states right to work states, stop entitlements,etc. Businesses would flock here.

Did you ever hear of the Monroe Doctrine? Everything that happens in our hemisphere is our business. By the way what about the Cuban Missile Crisis? Should we have ignored that too? You don't know squat about the Founding Fathers.

What foreign policy is that which we respect? Apologizing for the US while supporting thugs, dictators, and those who hate freedom is not foreign policy. Zero's ideology is his road map for everything. Whomever is a statist will get his support. Abiding by a constitution is not in his best interest if it doesn't advance his ideology. The law is what he says it is. Hondurans follow their law and all the thugs, including Chairman Maobama, denounce them. Is that leadership or what?
Did I misremember or did the big zero and plugs campaign on the worst economy since the Great Depression. If they believed that then, how in the hell can they claim that they misread the economy and it was worse than they thought? Biden is a dolt and a disgrace. His boss is an America hating fascist/marxist tyrant. They will point fingers of blame when things get worse and push through more government cures. The Dangerous Duo are intent to destroy our country.
Don't confuse intelligence with being smart or with having common sense. There are many intelligent people who are dumb as a box of rocks. Harvard and Yale grads have been running/ruining this country for years. These people believe they have all the answers. They come up with great ideas that work well in theory (in a vacuum). They forget one important tidbit, human nature. Human nature is the reason all the progressive ideas fail. They have been failing since the dawn of man. Al Franken is a little man. Another loon in the most fascist/marxist hate America congress and administration this country ever witnessed. He will fit right in.
While were at it, we are stopping missile defense.
