Or how about the Portland cop - this was close to 20 years ago, maybe 15 - who shot a man running away from the cop - IN THE BACK AND IN FRONT OF SEVERAL WITNESSESS IN THEIR HOMES and yet the cop was found to be within the department regulations and was back behind the barrel of a loaded firearm quicker than the ink too dry on the death certificate.

Jesus, Mary, Joseph & the Twelve Apostles, the abject stupidity of the voters is absolutely and utterly mind numbing.

I can only imagine what you're all going through knowing that the less than intelligent effectively cut the collective throat of Oregon, the main money artery spewing out a steady stream of money, draining the state until a certain death.
Hopefully this will cause a political revolution with the state in far more fically prudent hands, where the smarter vote would have been to vote out the party who voted for the supposed $10 corporate tax the lefists lied and whined about for the past six months. That would have been the smart thing to do, but we're talking about the Democrat Party, so...

I really didn't think that the voters would engage in self-sodimization but that's exactly what happened. The abject stupidity was surpassed only by the mind numbing intellectual dishonesty and now it's just a matter of time before the biggest corporations pack up and leave the state. Of course, when that happens, Oregon will become the biggest welfare state on a level not seen in U.S. history.
You get what you deserve for your imbecilic votes. The nation thought that Massachusetts was a uber-leftist state, but Oregon makes them look as conservative as the State of Texas and I thank GOD I don't live anywhere near your state.

If Mr. O'Conner can't be more subjective when it comes to Chairman MAObama's twisted and delusional socialistic/communistic ideologies, then maybe he's better served working for, say the Huffington Post or maybe the Daily Kos?

And that's exactly what I'm hoping for, because when companies like Intel, NIKE and other hugely important corporations in Oregon, aka rich capitalists who pray on the "weak" i.e, welfare cheats and illegal immigrants, are hit with huge, improperly impossed taxes, said corporations will leave and bankrupt the State. Then maybe will things change for the better.
But I doubt it.

Of course, the fact that the recently released emails proving that the entire Global Warm...er, I mean Climate Change (due to the last five years being COOLER than normal, the name change was necessary to continue the hoax/extortion) is a hoax as well as a Government sponsorted extortion of the American people, Copenhagen is a moot point and thus, irrelevant as far as any "change" taking place.
