Wow...as a Muslim I'm beyond disappointed with this ruling. Islam in this country is being spoiled rotten by these Islamic "protectors".

WOW! Major KUDOS to this writer. I really hope the DPM will read this article himself so that he can finally see what a lot of educated and civilized Malaysians think about him.

What? I really cannot believe what I just read in this article. Is Datuk Bung Mokhtar for real? This came from an MP? Ya Allah...please have mercy on this country.

Politicians encouraging them to drop out? Wow...and who are these politicians you're talking about? No politician, in his or her right mind will give this sort of advice. Neither from the government, nor the opposition.

Since he never bothered to define it, and clearly he's asking a rhetorical, sarcastic question, Let's define one Malaysia as inclusive. Assimilation is an illusion. No one ethnic group truly assimilates in a multi racial society. It simply does not exist.

I agree with this suggestion. The one Malaysia school should make all Malaysian students, regardless of race, to learn at least 3 languages; with BM and English being mandatory and the other mandatory language, students can choose from Mandarin and/or Tamil. If European students can learn 3-4 languages in their schools, why can't we?
