not YET. Everyone will scream and moan and cry bout how you cannot downgrade a baseband, COMPLETELY (or is it conveniently) FORGETTING THAT DEV-TEAM DID EXACTLY THAT IN JULY OF LAST YEAR...but it's just not possible YET. Give them time. They're an amazing team. They'll find the hole sooner or later.

I'm going to go ahead and call this nonsense and not possible. If this were possible, it would have been everywhere. You're the only one who seems to be suggesting this.

Please elaborate on this 'cooked' FW. I've seen no docs on this. I have an AT&T SIM which is on the 'Pick Your Plan' in the US. Is this a possibility for me (or anyone else who has it) to use?

What if we took the 2.30 baseband update from 2.2.1 and replaced the files with the 2.28 update from the last FW. Would it not then force a downgrade, but think it was upgrading?

Did I say that? no. I am referring to everyone who has such a negative attitude about it. Whether it is Dev-Team or someone else...someone will eventually find a fix or workaround. I believe that.

I'm tired of all this defeatist attitude people seem to have.

David Wasman | Design & Media | therealduckie.net - focus media - personal
contact | david@therealduckie.net | cell: 609-254-8512 | aim: davidwasman

I want to know, too. I'm tired of all the naysayers with their "No, you're out of luck for the rest of your life if you got the 2.30 baseband. stop asking" nonsense. In July of last year Dev-Team DOWNGRADED a baseband, so stop saying it isn't possible. It has been done before. It can be done again.
