An ambulance was coming down the road with lights and siren on. A young driver had apparently seen the ambulance approaching so he started pull over to the right hand lane, where the young girl was standing. He hit the girl as the ambulance drove past. It all happened a split second. I received a reply back on my comment from the young woman's brother a day after the accident. He thanked me for my comment, and said that right now she is still in the hospital in a coma. He stated he knew it was his sisters fault for standing on the street, had she stepped back, she might not have been hurt. Well, to end the story, she passed away a few days later. She never had a chance to live her 30's, 40's, 50's or more. And it all happened because someone or anyone was paying attention, driving or crossing the street. A big price to pay all from a SPLIT SECOND. So, DrRiderOR are you telling me that it was the Obama administration, City of Portland's fault that Gunderson got in an accident because HE wasn't paying attention?
