I really enjoyed the interview.

Happy New Year Scott and Mo (and other listeners).
My wife and I enjoyed the episode and laughed at the similarities. Like you I could not care less about optimizing my driving. I decided years ago while growing up in France that I would not be one of those drivers who get irritated at every driver. So I keep a Zen attitude about it. But like you I allow for plenty of time.
Btw the two of us have listened to all episodes including Mo. And it was a relief to hear the "medical situation" was behind you.
So here is to a healthy 2013. I am looking forward to new episodes as always (been a listener since #1).

I really enjoyed the interview as it had a great mix of technical and business considerations. Of course it was also quite intriguing to hear about an OSX / iOS app written in ... C# - hey why not :-)

Really enjoyed the show too as I have always been interested in how to avoid typecasting of tech geeks (programmers or not), and now with getting in more mature years, this is another angle I am sensitive. Too. Being in my upper 40s, I had to LOL when Garann said "I am 35 and " [have to learn to deal / relate with twenty somethings]. :-)

Thanks Scott for widening our field of knowledge on how we can all contribute in some way.
I enjoyed Willow's conversation style too.

I had a great fun listening to this episode - so thanks for sharing. I turned 48 myself and the comment you guys made about envisioning your future to be like Ward was right on. That was exactly what I thought to myself when I heard that episode of TDL back then!
I also find it true that with age you want to help younger developers too.

Andrew, it's something I have wanted to do for a while - so one day I will tackle that :-). I have actually created several Cordova (Phonegap) apps using the architecture described in the blog. The modularization has paid off greatly.

Hi Scott, I loved the first episode a while back and really enjoy this one too. In fact I stopped after 7mn, ran up to my wife and played the episode for both of us. We laughed the whole way through as she could completely relate to Mo. What a riot! Hopefully we don't have to wait another year or two for another installment! ;-)

Hi Tony, thanks for your feedback. I agree that using view mediators makes things more complex albeit more decoupled. And as you suggested everyone should do their homework and weighing pros and cons. If the app is very simple you can certainly opt for inline bindings. One area I have not really written about is the use of KnockoutJS for mobile apps (e.g. with jQuery Mobile and Phonegap (now Apache Cordova). But once you plan on making a mobile version of your app you will soon appreciate the flexibility of mixing and matching view models, views, and view mediators. You will most likely further breakdown your views and view mediators, and extending or modifying them as needed.
