I know this is the "joke" page, but I wanted to point out an error. The survey did not find the US behind in using medical technology, but information technology (IT). There's a big difference there. The reason we "lag" is because there's no big national database and not everyone is using the same program, which can make sharing information more difficult.

They make a good point on access, which is basically the fact that we don't have "after hours" access to medical care without resorting to an emergency room visit.

Yes, you have been brainwashed. Either that or I have "found a person with no values".

All you seem capable of is repeating lies and name calling. The sad part is, I think you are incapable of admitting that Obama has made some mistakes. In your mind he can do no wrong and everything he does must be defended at all cost -including civility and honesty.

And what's the problem? Don't you want an implosion of the Republican party? You guys have been hailing its imminent destruction since Reagan was in office.

Keith, did you look at who they polled? You have to go beyond just the numbers if you want to actually understand what a poll means or if it really has any meaning at all.

You and Keith both. You find one link that somehow makes the Republicans look "bad" and that's your answer to everything. You did note the poll was weighted extremely heavy for Democratic respondents, didn't you? Do you think maybe that's why the numbers came up the way they did?

I'm expecting Keith to jump in any time now with his "Rush said we should segregate buses" link any time now.

So you're saying the purpose of the Nobel Prize was to influence politics in the US? Don't you see, that's exactly the problem. That's why it may even be illegal for Obama to accept the award. Here we have a foreign entity "paying off" the president of the United States to try to influence policy. Of course democrats don't have a problem with "the appearance of impropriety" as long as its another democrat involved.

So when people from another country cry out for help, the great USA is supposed to turn its back? Are you so comfortable with your own freedom you don't mind if others are denied theirs? Those people were denied their voice by an oppressive regime. Your answer is to let the oppressed "sort out their own issues"? You cry out over Bush "stealing" elections, but when an election is truly stolen, you want to turn your head and ignore it.
