Simple solution here. (Do I have to advise the city on everything?)
Learn from the private sector. Build a combination Taco Bell & Fire Station..
Taco bell & KFC have been doing it for a few years. Look at the cost savings, one manager instead of two. When the fire fighters aren't on call they can make up the lower pay by making a little cash working at the Taco Bell. Increased sales as kids & kids at heart will love having a real fireman at the drive up window...

A real choice this time around; "High Tax Terry" Or "Not so bright Chet".
If there is there a canidate out there that is worth voting for, I haven't seen them yet??

In Iowa if you are caught urinating in public you can be put on the sex offenders list.
That seems a little harsh for taking a leak in an alley after a hawkeye game or what ever..
But it's the law...

This almost reminds me of my youth in the 60's when all students were required to wear the same sort of clothing to school.
My friend & I decided that we needed to change the dress code. So we wore a bright orange tee shirts with matching pants..
Needless to say we were both booted out of school for the rest of the week. It took a few more years for the dress code to relax & allow jeans & shirts without collars...
