@Kizito thanks for your comments. Connectivity is definitely an issue but that doesn't remove the benefits cloud computing and bring especially on an entreprise level. When my bank is doing reconciliations for the day, their electronic channels are usually unavailable for hours. If these tasks were outsourced to cloud computing platforms, that time can be reduced dramatically.

@seyitaylor you're right about how the mobile web is somewhat divergent in terms of experiences for both users in the third world vs other advanced countries. This, in my opinion creates an opportunity for local software entrepreneurs to create solutions that work in this market.

Granted, Swift doesn't get as fast at Mobitel (on some weekends) but the reliability and quality of service is just something that they (Mobitel) have to work on. The complaints are getting too much.

@Seye I think what sells now are ringback tunes. I guess that\'s something users cannot easily do themselves and so a viable business venture for the operators and content providers as well.
