There is plenty of blame to go around, right now, I blame any one in office who has the power to change it, or at least start the change. Politicians are to worried about their own money and reelection. This guy, and so many like him, risked his life to serve our Country, and now this Country won't take care of him... it's a shame. I know they won't, but the next time our leaders get into their personal Mercedes or other luxury car, I hope they think about these guys. Shame on them. They work for us, it's time they start acting like it and be held responsible.

Come on, it's only $20 million. It could have been wasted on something useless, like feeding the many kids in America who go to bed hungry. I am sick of the U.S. shelling our money away towards other Countries when they can't even take care of their own people in need. I am all for humanitarian aid, but there are plenty of people here who need it.

I watched an article on this, and what they were saying made sense, but I still disagree with it. They were saying this scholarship requires immense work to get, and keep. His son isn't just lying back and taking a hand out, he is really earning it. However, my thoughts are, yes, he may really be earning it, but he is also taking it away from someone who probably couldn't afford college without it. If he and his dad really wanted to do some good, his dad would fund him the scholarship, with the same conditions, and allow the other scholarship to go to someone who really needs it. I understand he worked for it, but so did so many other kids who don't have a rich dad.

There are multiple occasion where a knife attacker has killed 10+ people, so the truth is you can kill four people in a cafe with a knife. Not a butter knife, but it's just as easy to use a "combat" knife. Guns are dangerous, no. Guns can be dangerous. I went to the range twice last week. There must have been 50 other people with 100 guns in total. Guess how many people got hurt? None. Do you know what's even more dangerous than guns? A Government that rules its slaves with an iron fist because it knows they can't fight back. The parts in quotes are from "pausethenspeak" "We will check your background." - I have nothing to hide, but you will only check my background if I agree to it. "We will issue you a permit." - Not in this state, they will issue you a license. "We will require you to disclose all guns you own." - Good luck. You will never know that. The only reason if for MY protection. "We will inspect your guns to verify our records." - No you won't. There is this... apparently little known document that has some amendments. Check out the 4th one. "We will confiscate your guns to make us safer." - A tyrannical Government will be the only one safer with a disarmed society. If you want a society where the Government has taken all of the rights, I'm sure North Korea would love to have you.

I know for a fact, whether it gets reported or not, portions of the Fire Department where there a lot sooner, maybe not in full force, but there were emergency personel on scene within minutes of the explosion, since they heard and saw the explosion.

He had had gun in the first argument, it fell out, he got it back and left saying he was going to come right back. Came back, shot at/near her, then shot her... this isn't 1st degree how? 2nd degree is when someone dies resulting in a fight/altercation and there wasn't clear indication deadly force was intentional. He came back. He shot twice, then aimed at her and killed her. I don't know how it become more intentional than that.

I want justice too, but unlike many people mobbing and claiming murder, I want true justice to be served, whatever that may be. It may very well be justifiable homicide in the form of self defense. Let us have a non biased trial and find out as much truth as we can. There is no sense in convicting him of murder just so a few people can be happy. Truth needs to be the driving factor in this trial, not pressure.

I disagree. I used to work night shift for a little over a year and get off after 11 pm. Nothing bad happened to me. I never got in any trouble. In fact... the one time I was held up at gunpoint was at 4 pm.

I don't mind driving up to the mountains if I want to see snow. A little bit here and there is okay in the low lands, but when it's 8" at my place, then 1/8-3/4" thick ice develops on top of that... then it rains... then a wind storm comes through... That's a little much. Thankfully I haven't lost power, and I am glad to see most of the roads getting back to normal. Be safe out there everyone!

My power flickered and went out a couple times yesterday, but only for a few seconds each time. I woke up this morning, looked outside and saw the sky light up with purplish blue a couple of times then heard what I imagine a transformer tweaking out sounds like... thankfully I still have power.
