Sorry nice try.
Every city in America saw this coming years ago when the housing crisis started.
Some received the message early and did something about it and some just continued on as business as usual.
Kept expanding, giving raises to employees and started project that were unfunded.
Here is a perfect example, this is not a knee jerk reaction.
The city officials had plenty of time to fix the problem and decided to wait to long.
Now they're backed into a corner.

It's not the residents fault, that city officials mishandle the city's finances.
Why should people pay up for somebody else's mistake.

I answered your question and gave you numbers in one part of the Country.
When you say "Just Childish" tells me you cannot accept the truth.
You can believe what you want but but the fact these places breed crime and still take up Police resources to protect them and or investigate crimes committed at one of these facilities.
The Cartel will find other way to stay in this market via lower prices.
Get over it.
