I will continue to keep fighting against the government attempting to increase its power, but now in the mean time, the only advice I can give is what Representative Alan Grayson gave: Don't get sick. And if you do, DIE QUICKLY!!

Most of these senators and congressmen are going to have quite a bit to answer for in 2010, but more importantly, to a higher authority who reigns in the clouds if you catch my drift. How could the government do this to us? Harry Reid might as well spit on the graves of our founding fathers by enabling this bill to pass.

Good thing most people on this site are conservatives and not part of the GOP, and yes there is a difference. True conservatives want less taxes and less government spending more than anything else right now and both major parties have been doing that for some time now. Bush ran up our debt and now President Obama is just as bad with it if not worse. Our government is acting like some kind of crazy teenager that stole their parent's credit card is maxing out the credit limit on it and unless the parents do something about it soon they're gonna be in a lot of trouble for it. Comprende?

What I would do if I were you is start educating yourself on government policies, the constitution, history, etc, etc and continue to voice your opinions about stuff like this. It troubles me to see how much waste is going on in this country and it's up to us to stop it. I often feel overwhelmed too but that's what politicians count on because they figure we won't know what to do next about this stuff.

Things look bleak, and I feel sick to my stomach right now too, but we must keep fighting! Conservatives like you and me have stayed silent for far too long now!

During the tea party rally this week on capitol hill, I noticed a sign that said "Here us now or hear us in 2010!!" Apparently, Congress did not hear us this week or this past summer. Now in a year we will tell them to not let the door hit them on the way out!!

I think it's time we have another tea party. This is aboslutely shameful to leave our troops high and dry like this. Even if we weren't at war right now, does anybody on capitol hill realize that we have 10 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt!?! This money should be used to pay off these people who we are indebted to. There's no way a regular person would be allowed to go into this much debt and continue this kind of spending. Why should it be any different with those who work in the House of Representatives?

When Letterman even makes jokes on the air about having sex with guys on his staff, that doesn't seem like a very convincing apology to me...

I was so mad when Moore kept trying to make the case that all the people who bought homes were victims. I realize that there can be a lot of deceptive loan contracts out there, but even then, when you're making a major decision like this one, you should know full well what you're getting yourself into. If you don't have adequate money and/or education on the housing market, then you should stay the heck away from it. I personally have been debt free my entire life because of these choices and it's time for BOTH the American people AND its representatives to show some accountability.

Does anybody else here look forward tomorrow to Sean Hannity totally destroying Michael Moore in his interview with him tomorrow? I most certainly do!
