Cassius how do you rank the O-Line 3rd on the list of coming up short for the buckeyes? To me this is exactly what the problem is for the buckeyes and if TP has to scramble all game long this one will not even be close in my opinion. I think I speak for all Buckeye fans when I say that I hope we go out this weekend and show the country that we can compete on the big stage again. I now live in USC country so one more year hearing about how USC is better than the Buckeyes might just be enough to send me over the edge. GO BUCKS!

Did Woody Hayes coach the 2002 National Title team for the buckeyes? Have we struggled in some big time games the last few years? Yes we have no smart fan would say otherwise but I think its foolish to say the bucks aren't a top 25 team. I mean is USC overrated because they lose one game a year to teams like Stanford? I don't think so but I guess you forget about those type of losses huh?

The mistake wasn't going for it on 4th and 2. The mistake was running the ball up the gut when you have a QB that can roll out and get 3-5 yards at will. The lack of common sense when it comes to calling offensive plays should be no surprise to anyone in the buckeye nation. The O-Line looked terrible AGAIN for about the 312th straight game I just don't understand how Bollman has a job.

I think the Michigan game is very over rated in importance at this point in time. This is a program that is down in the dumps why are we even comparing our program to theirs at this point. Are they our rivals? Yes. But its hard to have a rivalry when one team is a bottom feeder in a conference that is probably the weakest big time conference a few years running now. I wish every OSU fan would start worrying if we are keeping up with Florida, Alabama, USC, Texas, and places like that instead of dwelling on a Michigan program that is more like Northwestern at the moment. I will take a win over USC because at least it tells everyone we can compete on that big stage again and most importantly actually win on that stage. Because in my opinion I could care less about how many times we beat michigan or how many watered down big ten titles we win I care about National Championships and we are going to have to beat the Florida's of the world to get those!

This article makes some great points but the real key that was not discussed is the fact the Jim Tressel wants "yes" men around him to tell him how great he is and not necessarily be a productive staff member. Since dantonio left has the defense really performed well against top level schools and the answer is no so the defensive side of the ball has problems as well. I know most fans care about the michigan game but people with real football knowledge could care less if that game doesn't mean a chance to go to the title game. The big ten is a very very weak conference so I care more about games against USC than Michigan and lets face it OSU has been nothing short of embarrassing against tough out of conference opponents pretty much from 2003- present. I am a die hard bucks fan but until Tressel loses his ego and brings in some talented coaches and gives them the ability to do what they want as a coordinator on either side of the ball this team is going to continue to struggle when it matters.
