Angel- it can be very difficult when sex drives and needs don't match up in a relationship. communication is key. It sounds like the two of you need to talk more about it. It can be hard to get to the real root of the issue. the fact that he made the comment "about not wanting it to be all about sex" tells me that there are emotions and feelings involved there, not just simply a difference in drive. i'm with you on preferring to use toys with a partner. but a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do. and it's not like you have to disclose to him every time you masturbate.

there are tons of ways to spice things up and find out what peaks his interest, but more importantly is the emotional side to it. only then will any effort to compromise will be futile. and yes, sex is sometimes an issue that falls into the compromising part of a relationship.

and tons of things to try out to make solo more fulfilling in the mean time. :)
