any cyclone fan saying that iowa fans don't get any cr*p when they come to ames hasn't been to a football game in ames or is wearing blinders.The harrasment happens on both sides. I personally wouldn't go back to ames due to the experiances I have had there wearing black and gold.
Brooke Walters must not have ever attended the game in Ames wearing Black and Gold. Been to the game there a few times and won't go back due to the hostility to Hawkeye fans. I would say it goes both ways on the harrassment. Just because your not the one doing it doesn't mean its not happening.
Wonder what the school has thought of these plans should the hawks have a few mediocre seasons. With increasing ticket prices and parking prices along with these ever increasing rules and policing people are going to just stay home. Fortunately for the school they have a well performing program right now. What happens when the cycle turns? Empty Kinnick just as Carver has been? Unfortunately these rules seem to be pointed at the whole crowd when its just a small selection that really need them. Most of which probably are not season ticket holders or tailgate on school property.
I think if we all send $5 via paypal and note it was from Hawkeye fans it will make a big impact and show them what kind of Fans we have!! Help out and Go Hawks!!

This whole flu isjust stupid. And the media has helped fuel the fire. Limiting too just 2 visitors makes no sense if they are all heealthy. What makes a differance if there is 2 at a time or 4 at time if they all end up coming to visit anyway? If they are all there together they might combine together to make some crazy new flu bug that the media will make everyone think is twice as bad as it really is???
get some more energetic and upbeat songs!! Some seem so slow it seems to get bring the vibe down in the crowd.
