Hi Chris2110

I live in Swindon which is 80 miles west of London towards Bristol, the Atlantic Ocean and the USA. It’s snowing over most of the UK which makes for a pretty satellite picture.

Not sure about the Tibetan word for worry. Apparently, the Eskimos have several dozen words for snow so I guess they are good at detail.

Being a bit of a philosopher myself, I like to remember an old song which my friends and I were singing whilst skiing in Austria. “Don’t Worry be Happy”

I think that’s a cool way to live don’t you? And yes, I will stay warm thank youJ

All the best to you Chris2110 and thanks for your reply

There was an old Beatles song called "Let it Be" Apart from a nice little tune it is full of wisdom, so much so that the word wisdom is used in the song.

Worry and Guilt can freeze us. Guilt is about something that happened in the past and worry is about some future event that may or may not happen.

I'm getting better at "have it so" or "Let it Be", this is another great book with timeless words of wisdom.

All the best from a 54 year old Brit and it's still snowing here!

Okay... I admit it... Bought this book many years ago and did try to live by the wisdom according to Mr Covey. But like a lot of other books I have bought over time, I had completely forgotten about these 7 habits or have interpreted them badly.

It's very easy to be Proactive but without responsibility we are kidding ourselves. Love the idea of Synergy and wish each and every business owner I have met over many years had learned it as well. Doing Joint Ventures is so incredibly easy and is common place on the web but not so much in the so called Bricks and Mortar world.

A great reminder for me and much easier to review over 6 pages of notes and hearing it on an MP3 player.

Thanks all

I found and bought The Four Agreements some time ago and used to take it everywhere with me.

If all people's, races, creeds and Governments adopted The Four Agreements we could banish Wars.

May be the human race is not quite ready to really live and let live. Perhaps I'm being a bit naive in thinking that our politicians are big enough to ever stop squabbling and misusing the power they have.

I do though believe if enough people were empowered and supported on the tenets of The Four Agreements that humanity would move forward with a new sense of purpose.

In terms of my journey I find myself getting mad at people who drive badly, smoke, drink to excess and a few other things... My self riotous button gets well and truly pressed.

Mostly, I reflect on my behavior and thoughts and then promise not to repeat them... Sometimes I can nip them in the bud and other times they escape my consciousness, only to reflect again.

Oh, to be human:-)

Best wishes to one ad all.
