I love the country just as much as everyone here, but can we PLEASE stop with the USA chants every time there is a gathering? There has to be a better use of all that energy and all of those voices than just repeating USA, USA, USA forever. I almost always like to come to the table with a solution in hand, but in this case.... I've got nothing! Maybe it needs to be something different based on each situation, maybe it should be "YOU WORK FOR US!" or a hundred other things. All I know is that "U-S-A" is great and has a place, but we need some new material!

I say that based on his track record so far, Mr. Obama would see such a meeting as a waste of his time and would not be sitting in it. I have NO faith in his ability to make these types of decisions, and I honestly think that we he can avoid them he will.

I seriously doubt that the President is calling the shots on rules of engagement. That is why we have Secretaries of each branch, and the Joint Chiefs.

Ok guys, I know it is easy to put all the blame on the President, but do you actually think he is calling the shots here? This is being handled at lower levels than that, I am sure of it. This is a little bit different situation than if a military guy was being held hostage too, it is technically a civil (police) matter, and I have never been in the Navy (I'm in the Army) but I am sure they have trained for scenarios like this. Let them play it out and see what happens, but I am pretty confident that the Captain of the Alabama will come out of this alive. As for the pirates..... meh, if they are still alive, maybe we can use them for biological weapons testing or something when this is over with... LOL

I am a pretty conservative guy, but even I think this is a stupid idea. I think a better goal should be to get them to come back to the right a few notches (otherwise known as the realm of sanity) and not encourage them to get worse.

Honestly, the fact that this was even a story is sad. Those tickets should be first come first served... period! Why do we need to save some tickets for gays, some tickets for people with misshapen elbows, some for those who think the preservation of kentucky bluegrass music is the key to saving the world, and some for every other group known to man. JUST STOP!!!! Print he tickets, put them out there for distribution and leave it at that. The bottom line is that not everything is a political issue, and this sure as hell shouldn't be. It is a fun day for kids... it has nothing to do with what Easter is really about, but that does not make it any less fun... just let it be fun!
