How can I prevent umbrella from NOT updating my baseband? I've deleted the host file created by umbrella, deleted the line that points itunes to Saurik's server still I can't update the baseband to the latest and since I'm selling the phone that's the best way to prove it's officially unlocked. Thanks

If u bought it a year ago it's old bootrom but right now nothing u can do if u don't have the official carrier's sim. Then you could use spirit to jb and ultrasn0w to unlock but you wouldn't be able to go to 4.0 yet.

I always set up my phone as new, never restore from backup. I haven't noticed any slow down. Well purchase PKGbackup from cydia and your cydia apps will be back in no time..

Yup old bootrom.. Hahaha even mentioning snowbr can get ur post deleted.. the rule is either u have a mac or find someone with a mac, or find a reliable source to download.. whatever.. the creator of the forbidden tool has a tool that if u use will kick ur phone out of dfu or recovery after restore and everything will be fine..
