Big Hollywood : Stand Up Notes From Flyover Country: Pressure 'Law & Order' Advertisers

Add NCIS and NCIS:LA to the boycott list after last night's horrible episodes. Both featured Muslims being the victims of CHRISTIAN hate crimes. Christian Honor Killings, no less! Marines being portrayed as racist rednecks. This during the Christmas season. Delightful isn't it? I love NCIS and have watched it faithfully for 7 years, they always supported the military and what they do, but last night made me nauseous and disgusted. No more. Officially jumped the finny thing.

Big Hollywood : Stand Up Notes From Flyover Country: Sarah Palin is Dangerous

When you are unable to govern because you are spending your entire time fighting bogus ethics complaints and your state is effectively without a working leader, then common sense dictates you hand over the reins to your deputy and leave the office so that the job can be done by someone who isn't so hampered. But I think you have made up your mind anyway, so it's probably pointless trying to convince you.

Big Hollywood : HuffPo Goes All In to Defend Polanski, Readers Revolt **UPDATED/CORRECTED**

Polanski is a liberal. Therefore he can't do anything wrong. It's all the fault of everyone else. Like Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo. You know, if she were alive today she'd be honoured to think what her death led to etc. Perhaps Samantha Geimer should also feel the great honour bestowed upon her for allowing Polanski to express his artistry. After all, if he needed to sodomize little girls in order to make films, then those little girls need to start thinking about the 'big picture' outside and stop being so self-centered. Yeah, women should just shut up and take it, if it comes from a liberal that is. However, if it's a conservative, throw the book at him.

Big Hollywood : VIDEO: Limbaugh and Leno Enjoy Spirited Political Talk

I watched the whole thing. It was wonderful to see two successful people have an intelligent and spirited DEBATE without resorting to abuse or prevarication. They provided fodder for the audience, articulated their positions and were respectful to each other's points of view. And the audience appreciated it. More please Leno. It was classy and nothing like what happens on Letterman et al's hate sessions. Less of Michael Moore and Kanye West and other gutter dwelling news of the moment guests.

Big Government : **UPDATE** NBC News Statement

ALG have updated again: <a href="http://www.getliberty.org/" target="_blank">http://www.getliberty.org/ ALG Response to NBC Accusations on Politico: “We did our due diligence.” They seem pretty calm and confident. You know, NBC are really making this far worse than it should be. It was a dumb comment by Jane Stone in the first place, but aside from the mean nature of her remark, it isn't huge news. But NBC have gone to the mattresses and their bloviating defence has made the cover-up the story instead of quietly taking Jane Stone aside and getting her to issue an apology before it all got out of hand. Instead they are putting themselves into the position of not only having to defend their reporter, but now her evident anti-Semitism. Idiotic.

Big Hollywood : BREAKING: GOP Senators Request Explanation From NEA Chairman Regarding Possible Violations of Federa

I agree with your sentiment, it would be great to send a signal to all of Congress by outvoting all the incumbents, but I have a suspicion that the DNC, with all its 'funds' and 'activities' at its fingertips, would simply win the subsequent ballots. Not sure that voting out all incumbents would necessarily work for our side.

Breitbart.com : Australia swine flu passes 10,000, prefers 'young'

Actually, there is no proof that swine flu is the complete culprit here. The Australian pathology labs have admitted a few weeks ago that they couldn't test that many swabs for H1N1, so are 'assuming' that swine flu is responsible for a lot of the cases. In other words, if you've got flu right now in Oz, we're pretty sure it's swine flu. Or something like that. And if it's not, it ought to be. Or was once. Or might be next week. Oh, what the heck. Leave us alone, we're busy. So Nicola Roxon is having a little lend of everybody right now, I think.
