Just from the comments I have read in all the stories related to this one, I think people are ignorant to what Obama is and what effect he has had on the country thus far. He has not been in office long enough to reap the effects of his work. People also see a man of muslim descent and fear him for that. I don't think people are against this speech because they disagree with what he stands for, but because they honestly fear him! Why do they fear him? I also know that most people are able to take a couple hours off work to go see what their child is involved in in school. I'm sure you take days off for other frivalous things of no consequence...The speech won't last a full hour...take an early or late lunch with an hour of personal time.
