The assailants admitted this, and the young man who had been beaten went after the assailants with one of them in the car who promised he would talk to the two that did the physical part of the beating and get the young man's belongings back. Amy Okubo - who was D.A. at the time, got a complete thrill out of calling this a "KIDNAPPING". She felt very powerful with her male hating self, and found a way to misconstrue, lie, and convict a perfectly harmless young man of the kindest of hearts - of "KIDNAPPING"!!!! Unbelievable I know, one has to research to believe. She partially destroyed this young man and his family, but I know in the natural order of things, she will suffer great sadness for such an evil thing. The wonderful part of this story is that after her extreme wrong doing, she was forced to leave the courts for good.
