I undestand that but seas0npass only jailbreaks apple tvs on the most current firmware which ios 5.2.1 on apple tv 2 unless you have saved shsh wich in my case im on 5.2 without any saved blobs and i dont want a tether apple tv

I mean like if the rumore were to be true then there hasn't been a userland jailbreak since jailbreakme. U misunderstood me im aware there is no jailbreak yet

Apparently you should not update to ios6.1 via OTA you have to do a full restore thhrough itunes. @pimskeks

I think i got that from dhlizard thanks. I downgraded all my current supported devices from ios 6.1b5 except the iphone 4s, it was giving problems. Guessed ahould of ask for a specific device

I was having the same problem a while ago and il i did was run redsn0w as an administrator and it put the device in dfu mode
