so are you saying we should just stop trying to perfect it? was anything ever first tried 100% effective? or did it need refined, and refined again? every technology we have today, failed at first or did you not know that. i run a few websites, it took me a month to integrate google checkout into it, after running nearly 500 test cases, i finally got it to run 100% effective. should i have stopped trying at test case 1? do you think that the stealth fighters were 100% effective during it's first test flight? of course not. she is saying that it not possible and it is possible because we have done it time and time again. The first patriots were crude but still deployed on Gulf war I to lesson the impact of missles, V2 of the patriot was better and more effective than the first version. Also, is not having 2 nuclear ICBM hit here as opposed to having 10 hit here better? So you're logic is saying that, just having Baltimore and Chicago nuked is the same as having, NYC, Baltimore, DC, LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Pittsburg, Dallas and Boston nuked? wow, hate to see that logic applied to business and defense... the missiles and rockets we have now would not exist at all.... logic fail

no it wasnt... and they are called SCUD MISSILES... and Patriot missiles hmmm, whats the operative words there... oh yeah MISSILES... she said it's impossible and no it's not impossible cus we have done it. It's not a question of can the hardware to it, its all in the software of the missile. Even if you have to shoot a few at a time to intercept one missile, it still works. Now, it may not be perfect but taking out 8 out of ten missiles coming in, is bettter than 0 out of 10 now isnt it? also, they have on war ships, anti missile gear, thats shooting at a missile to take it out... are you telling me we cant do that either?
