slightly off topic, more into his promises and the value of his word. Did anyone notice when he was asked about the government being involved in end-of-life decisions, he deflected the question by saying the governement doesn't have that many employees? He never really emphatically denied that it was NOT his intent. Like it or not, he does tell some version of the truth. You just have to be VERY careful in accepting his statements, especially when we perceive him to say one thing and he have a different definition of what is our general understanding. Slippery like a snake oil salesman ~

I didn't listen to Obama's spech - I get too irritated and upset when I know someone is lying/slanting the truth. I know I will get plenty of clips of him at various stages of the speech and feel I didn't miss much. I can only take small doses of the Obamanation mantra. The measure of the man is manipulation and obfuscation. What matters with him is what he DOES, definitely very little of what he SAYS is valid. It is just more of the same old hype . . . other than him starting a firestorm about Gates to derail the growing opposition to him, i.e. playing the race card. What a hypocrite!
BTW I am continuing to have problems with being able to reach the articles referred to here. Today I was able to get to 1 and part of another article before my click shows it is starting to load, then it disappears. I had to completely rescan my computer and settings in order to get this much. Is it possible that something is interacting with my computer to do this. I have had the problem for at least a week now . . ..

When they start this kind of thing, I suspect there is something coming they want to sneak by us while we all watch Holder. What they 'say' is NEVER the point; look for what will be coming under the radar . . .more misdirection and obfuscation while they further erode our freedoms..

Mr. O's propaganda puff piece is an interesting test of the waters.
I haven't watched NBC since Clinton left and somehow on election night they couldn't find even one person who voted Republican. I decided then I would no longer watch the adminstration propaganda news.
Mr. O overreaches everything - or ELSE his goal is to destroy this country which he is doing at breakneck speed.
Now they will TELL us the news and tell us what to think about it.
It has been a long time since I watch either side telling me what has been said and how it should be interpreted, after a press conference. The answer - don't watch it OR stations that air that kind of propaganda.

Once again Mr. O talks a good show about values and principles. Too bad his actions don't match his words except only incidentally..
HIS values and the actions of his administration are shameful. Threatening the banks if they don't roll and 'play dead' and approve of everything the 'Obanination' wants. Wasn't it amaazing how the medical industry made like puppets at their photo op. I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting to see how THAT was accomplished. More coercion and threats no doubt. I guess we are all practicing for the propaganda machines of our future. I understand the Obamination regime is now putting together the news for all those pesky journalists. I admit few seem to ask critical questions. Why NOT just bypass them and let America have the news Mr. O decrees we should get . . ..

We are watching the 'obamination' of our once great country. Mr. O has fed many people a line of pap to keep them happy and satisfied so he could get elected and destroy our country, oops, HE said he would 'remake' America. A lot of this is our own fault. Like the circuses in ancient Rome the people were kept amused while he destroys it from the inside. . .

We know how much the flight to take a picture of the President's jet with the Statue of Liberty cost. Want t bet how much it will cost of our dollars to do that. He throws money away like it grows on trees. Wait a minute, it isn't HIS money, so for all he knows maybe it does. I'd like MR. O to use some of his OWN $ and see how conservative he gets. He talks a lot about being unselfish BUT I don't see much of that from him personally. He just reaches into our wallets and starts throwing wads of it around. Maybe the money will STICK to something and by pure happenstance . . . Oh right, that would require a plan, s strategy, Mr O will come up with those piddling little details later after the first billion, trillion, or whatever is blowing in the wind . . .

I closed out my AARP Chase credit card - they raised the APR from 18% to 28%.and that was a couple of months ago.
