Scuse me, mr. military stategist, but just where in the hell do you think Al Qaeda and Taliban terrorists--who are responsible for attacks in the U.S. and around the world--live and breed? One of those places is Afghanistan. They're trained, funded, indoctrinated, and supported across the Middle East. I'd have leveled 3/4ths of the entire region on 12 September 2001.
