Like many others I had a great deal of respect and admiration for Mr. Powell. Now I am glad that he did not run for president, if I am not mistaken, he said that maybe the american people wanted more government in their lives, now he is saying something different, I guess he is looking a the poll numbers and see that more an more people are not in agreement with the current White House politics, while Obama keeps a high rating as a charimastic indiviual, his policies are losing ground to most americans, wheter they are republicans, democrats, independents, or any other affiliation, people have a bigger value within, which is freedom, Mr Powell played bad his strategy and went to the initial flow of the "majority" for political gain, now he is changing his rhetoric and trying to go again with the flow, a person needs to be true to the core values, to stick to his ideals, and not changing to their own convenience
