There was not much coverage at all by local news media. The news vans were there but I guess it was for decoration. They mentioned it the day before and said the event was from 6-8. There was no mention of Glenn, Ted Nugent or Janine Turner. The newspaper the next day said there were 5,000 people(Extremists) in attendance. Glenn announced last night that The Alamo officials estimated 20,000. I would tend to agree with the latter. Thanks to all the special guests for coming. I am hoping for a repeat of the Tea Parties on July 4th with even more participants. I will be in Jackson, MS at that time. Has anyone from MS heard if there will be another Tea Party there? The high school my son will graduate from in 2010(thank goodness)must definitely be afraid of a discrimenation lawsuit because of the things that they allow. They preach no PDA in middle school. They don't allow it in high school between a boy and girl, but between 2 girls it is allowed out of fear. Now we live out in the country but our community is growing. When my daughter first went to this high school 6 years ago,, it was just a good old country school. Now, I can't wait for my son to get out of there. I am furious that he has to witness this kind of behavior. I found out from another parent that there is a special staircase the "makeout girls" go to. Any complaints fall on deaf ears. There has to be "proof." If a teacher doesn't see it, then it didn't happen. Well, they must see it if the students do. They are just afraid of a lawsuit against them for denying same sex rights. No wonder our country is in such trouble. People are more afraid of the court's wrath than God's wrath for doing the right thing.
