Yeah, I LITERALLY never made that connection, and I read the PotS books when they first came out.

After working my way through a couple Song of Ice and Fire books, I have to say that there is definitely an advantage to short(er) books, though! Much easier to hold, and they weigh a lot less when you carry them around everywhere! But even 500 pages would be much better than the 1030 I just slogged through (thank you, A Clash of Kings).

I didn't know about Cavall/King Arthur (omg is there slash about that?), but what my mind DID go to, despite knowing these books well, is Cavil from BSG. Anyone? Just me?
