Big Government : EXCLUSIVE: Ron Paul in 2009--‘I Wouldn't Risk American Lives' to End the Holocaust

Doesn't Congress declare war? Or is it too quaint an idea to expect a President to act constitutionally and allow troops to be sent to war only when the Congress, which represents the will of the American people (you know, the people who actually fight the wars), declare war? Also, we all know that the US did not enter WWII to end the Holocaust. And that FDR was far from a great friend to the Jews. Yet FDR, a tremendous statist, is nearly canonized in this country. On a philosophical note -- and I am both a Jew and a Ron Paul supporter -- should we send troops to war to protect any group from slaughter? And if we should, how should we decide which groups to save, and which to let be killed? The Holocaust happened because the German people allowed Hitler to use the state to eliminate or oppress individual liberties. Ron Paul supports policies which are nearly always the antithesis of such an occurrence.

Beautiful story, thank you for sharing! In my experience, nobody's an American like one who's come from Cuba. Gee, I wonder why that is? ;-) Happy Independence Day to the author, and to all.

Dude's clearly batshit for cocoa puffs. Just sayin'. I'd feel sorry for him, but anybody who'd rather cover up a global conspiracy than harm his ratings based ON said conspiracy (ibid, sic, et cetera) runs out of sympathy credit real quickly.
