Cardiff just didn't have the energy. We were lucky, in that the woodwork saved us two goals. Yes, plenty of missed chances, Maynard had a few, but three vital points. Nolan's goal was clinical, right footed from left side of box. Right before, Linda's long and winded goal, I thought Faubert was playing left back with some of those crosses. All in all, massive win. He has had a fine season at this level. The biggest flaw I see in him his is turnovers. I re watched the match this morning, and he had a go at two defenders, only to lose the ball. As a coach, I was scratching my head as to why he was taking a throw in. Did he swap places? He seems to be out of position too much, which hurts the team. It's really easy to counter attack our side with that type of play. As for his passing, at times it's really good, others, not so good. A perfect example, set pieces. WH had 10 corners yesterday, not one dangerous. Too be fair, Collison had a few. As for holding mid? Scott Parker is no speed demon, but he makes it up with some really good foot work. Noble isn't the only area I would be concerned for nexr season, Faubert and Nolan.
