There is a chance that Rubio can drop. Clippers are goin to draft griffin even though they're crowded with big men. Grizzlies got Conley and he's the Tony Parker type. Thunder got Westbrook. So pretty much the top three teams are drafting players they don't need, but GMs aren't dumb and are lookin to draft the best players.
We can still get a good player. All the all -stars in the NBA now were drafted pretty low. Some of them were even drafted late second round.
I don't think so either. Boston had paul pierce before garnett and allen, and he's an all star. They weren't good. we need good veterens.
The kings need a point guard. kings are crowded on the wings. we got nocioni, donte green, kevin, and garcia.
Beno has the worst assist/turnover ratio. He hasn't shown he could lead the team. Garcia is better than him at point! Garcia's the one on the floor when fourth quarter comes. Beno's better off coming off the bench. he doesnt have to play defense on the bench or get hurt!
Kings don't have much to trade. Maybe Garcia but he has a contract and is actually playing defense. No one would even touch Kenny Thomass at this point. He hasn't played much and is old. Unless one of the top three teams are willing to trade down for less then it might work, but they might get spencer or jason. I would trade up also if the right players are being sent the other way.
Kings really need to draft a good pint guard. I can't stand Benos turnovers. We need someone that can take the load off of Kevin and make plays for others.
I can't believe the kings fell all the way to 4th. That's why Kings can't rely on the draft. Petrie need to make some trades, but he's waiting for the 2010 free agency. That means one more bad year for the kings.
Petrie has good candidates, but he should look for a long term coach. I can't stand coaching changes because it messes with the players' head and distracts them from playing basketball even though they say it doesn't. Rick adelman should've never been fired. He wasn't the defensive coach, but he is a teacher and a mentor. If he could keep Ron Artest under control, then he couldve done great with this young kings team.
Kings need a strong coach that we'll sit them down when they don't play defense. Avery Johnson would've been great. Kings suck so he wouldn't do it. Petrie has to settle for rejects.
