sorry for posting again and again, seems like i'm the only one whose facing this particular issue: i've jb my 3g with all possible methods, unlocked it using ultrasnow keeping 3g off. when in insert my sim card all it does is keep searching and says no service. i've tried all possible firmwares with jb's and unlock. Also tried turning airport on & off consecutive times. still no luck... wat could possibly be the reason. anyone with a similar problem. pls do not ask me jb with redsnow, pwnage, spirit cos i've done it more than 20 times and i'm not a noob in jailbreaking and unlocking phones. anyone who had a similar issue and has finally got a solution to this problem. iphone 3g serial:8**34M***7H baseband:05.13.04 bootloader:5.9 model:MB702 thanks.

this 3g has come from the US and my friend was using it there with his sim card. he got himself a new iphone 4 and gifted this to me. is is possible that if the phone was barred in the US will it continue to be barred in india as well... change of country also doesnt affect the barred state ???

i've tried all the firmwares 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and 4 also... everything works fine till jailbreaking and unlocking the only thing that gives me trouble is the network searching and then it shows no service.in the setting- general-about-carrier i get the name of the provider but in the network section there is no network...
