Well as someone who lives in rural Ontario, I take this issue more seriously than you do. We own and operate a farm and need access to the commodities markets. Yes, agriculture is a business and uses the same tools as urban businesses. In addition, I develop curriculum for a post secondary institution. Our students need access to broadband in order to participate in online discussions, webinars, and so on. When we develop online courses for this area we have to consider the number of students who are stuck using dial up, and the courses are not as effective as we would like them to be. And oh yes, I am only an hour away from Yorkdale Mall - not exactly in the boonies, but very few of my neighbours have access to high speed. So maybe you use your internet for gambling and porn, but we have real issues.
