Sounds like the UK prime minister has a carbon copy of our presidents plan. Now we need conservatives to stand up and follow Sir Hannan's lead on confronting the Statist that is our president.
re-establish state sovereignty and rights. Bad policies in one state can be contained to that state while the rest of the union can develop better policies. At a national level we choose policies that have been proven to work by the states.
Pay raises for congress should be voted by the people by referendum and not congress itself.
No more then two, two year terms for anyone serving in the House and two three year terms in the Senate. That would keep fresh faces and ideas on the hill.
One thing we can do is start taking back some liberal territory. For example, the slobbering love affair between Obama and the NJ Governor has given conservatives an opportunity to take back a liberal state. The residents of NJ are suffering and are tired of the same politics and liberal policies. Strong conservative candidates with clear plans and objectives can easily win this state back. I think this could lead to the domino effect in the northeast.
