From a dumb woman who thinks Lincoln is a founding father. Next story please.
Agree with this review....Blood & Fire is a sure hit and there are several really heavy rocking tunes, ala Fair Warning. Good guitar work, excellent drums as usual and all in a raw rock style with no keyboards to speak of. Well done and very welcome rock CD in today's sadly hip-hop and pop-rock driven soft-around-the-edges music scene.
Well that's awkward, Obama put Kodak CEO Antonio Perez on his infamous jobs council in Feb 2011. I guess the jobs council isn't getting much done if its CEO's are declaring bankruptcy.
Newt was toast weeks ago, really sad and pathetic. Look up the definition of Solipsistic , that's Newt to a T.
Romney is the only moderate candidate...and what bugs Conservatives about Romney is precisely what Independents like about him and why he'll get a much higher % of their vote in the general election. If Newt or Santorum were nominated, Conservatives would be happier but Independents that think gay marriage is fine or that contraception is ok, they'll either not show up to vote for a Santorum or vote for Obama, probably more the former than the latter....and either would result in 4 more years of Obamadum.
I'm against State or Federal level mandates of any kind, I don't even like that 49 states mandate/require automobile liability insurance be purchased. But the key difference between Obamacare and Romneycare is that one is an unconstitutional Federal mandate to purchase something and one is a State-level mandate to purchase coverage which is legal and supported by most citizens in the very very liberal Democratic state of Massachusetts.
It's really apples and oranges, and Romney has said repeatedly that Obama's federal mandate is unconstitutional and something he'll repeal on his first day in office if the Supreme Court doesn't deem it unconstitutional this summer. Romney couldn't be clearer and the distinction between Federal and State level mandates (such as auto insurance) cannot be clearer. It's not called the United States for nothing....States rights are critical, from the struggle to establish the first 13 states and stars on the flag to keeping States rights and Federal powers in check, the union grew stronger and growing to 50 states (57 if you ask Obama). Federal powers years ago far exceeded what the founders and constitution laid out at the birth of this country.
List some lies. Pacs for all candidates are on the attack, it's politics, it's rough, wear a cup.
Newt's been toast for a few weeks now...this is just butter on top. He's so solipsistic it's not even funny.
I'm independent leaning right, voting GOP 99% of the time and I like Romney BECAUSE he's considered a RINO (though I don't think he is), because he's not a far right divisive Conservative that would lose against Obama in the general election. We have get Obama out of there, and to win the necessary % of Independent votes Romney is our best bet by a mile. He garnered SC Gov. Nikki Haley's support, an avid tea partier and also the support of Krauthammer, Hume and a hoard of other significant conservatives. I'm hoping he taps Rubio as his VP, Romney/Rubio would beat Obama by the widest margin. Newt is a divisive, solipsistic, bomb-throwing lifetime politician, got $1.6M from Freddie Mac, chummy with Pelosi in support of Cap & Trade and global warming nonsense, slammed Ryan for his aggressive budget and medicare reform plan....he's all about Newt, no thanks. Romney is an accomplished business executive, saved the SLC Olympics with his leadership and exec. acumen, and he's precisely what this country needs, he's the anti-Obama when it comes to economic and business smarts.
If I were Newt and had his baggage I'd want my opponents to do the same thing. The GOP fears a Newt win, they want to beat Obama, look at all the Newt dissenters in the GOP circles...I personally don't care who wins as long as they beat Obama, but Newt is pretty toxic and divisive....his reign in the 80's-90's left a lot of scars, most folks that worked with him from the GOP side aren't supporting him now.
